Queen Charlotte, (née Duchess Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz; 19 May 1744 – 17 November 1818) was the queen consort of George III of the United Kingdom (1738–1820). She was the grandmother of Queen Victoria, and the great-great-great grandmother of the current Queen of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth II. (*Info. from Wikipedia).


Bet a lot of people didn't know that African's have ties to the Royal Throne!!! I don't know about you but this certainly amazed me, according to Wikipedia (a popular online encyclopedia) Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg was a Mulatto, currently what we call today a person that is Bi-racial or what Kanye West would refer to as a "Mutt"; Regardless, the Queen of England today, fully acknowledges her African history. If you view the picture closely you definately can see the "mulatto chararcteristics". She studied with the likes of Mozart & Bach, she also chartered many philanthropic projects during her reign as Queen!
